Merry Christmas!
This time of year, when giving and receiving gifts is the focus for many, I am thankful for the many gifts that I have already been given in my life. This CHRISTmas my attention is drawn to the Lord, His giving nature, and His desire to bless every single person.
I’m amazed that the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords would come and live with his creation. He would become like us, yet without sin. To provide a way for us to be brought into relationship with the Father. The Father of lights who gives us every good and perfect gift.
Together we have provided thousands of people with clean drinking water. Many communities have received the blessing of medical equipment and supplies, impacting thousands of people. Through your generosity we have helped many congregations with construction of simple houses of worship. Because of our combined giving 220 children have received the amazing gift of a Beeline Wheelchair.
The best part of all this for me is seeing firsthand the impact of your generosity. You have truly changed the world. It may sound like I’m exaggerating, but consider all the individuals now enjoying clean water, receiving medical help, worshiping in new church buildings, or being supported in countless other ways. Think about each person who has found CHRIST, the most precious gift of all time. All of these people will be forever blessed by your kindness.
A great study that I encourage you to pursue is to find every quotation of Mary the mother of Christ. She is not quoted much but her words are powerful. The last thing she was quoted as saying is “whatever he says to you, do it”.
The Blessings of the Lord be to you and your loved ones. May the Peace of God which passes understanding be yours this Christmas and every day.
David
