August 2024
Recently, we drilled a well in Guatemala with a team of 6 Americans, 5 Guatemalans and the local villagers. We had a wonderful experience on the coastal plains of Guatemala near a town called Nueva Concepcion. Pastor Ever, his family and the local church were expressing their thanks for all of you that support our work. Most of us, myself included, have no idea what it might be like to receive such a gift. Their joy overflowed into expressions of love and gratitude for all that Asocaviva (our drilling partner) and Integrity International had done. What a blessing to be there and experience the work and the joy of success. You should join us on a trip!
The good quality, pure drinking water was so close, only 200 feet below. However, we had to search for it. We had to work and dig. In the same way, the Lord Jesus Christ (GOD) is not far from us. He is close. Better still, He wants to be found. Jeremiah 29 verses 12-14 say "Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the LORD." Amazing!
You have probably seen some photos from Beeline Wheelchairs. Their work among people with disabilities is inspiring. In August we purchased and delivered some tools for their factory and upgrades for a couple of their computer systems. They have a factory that produces life changing mobility products (mostly wheelchairs) for handicapped individuals. They are always fitting the device to the person with joy, attention to detail, and prayerful interaction with expectation that the family will come closer to the Lord through the interaction. We love Mark and Esther and the entire staff at Beeline Wheelchairs. If you would like to help a person in need, each chair costs $400. You can donate through www.integrityint.org/donate. We are rapidly approaching the end of our reporting season. We bring you monthly updates and we post progress reports to our social media pages and website. Honestly, it's a lot of work and we do, at times, fall behind. However, we will pull it all together and report to our donors at our annual banquet coming on Sunday, November 10th. We hope you'll join us there. More details will be coming soon. So save the date - We hope to see you there!!
